Here's what's happening in September
We are off and running again at YouthCrossing. We've just spent three weeks answering the question of "What is YouthCrossing" from a bunch of different perspectives, and judging from the answers we came up with, we have so much to look forward to this year. Youth leaders and students alike are laser focused on making this a year in which we make great strides in fleshing out our faith by learning more about Jesus and what it means to follow Him, by building community, by reaching outward to impact people in the greater St. Louis area and beyond... and by doing all these things with a fun YouthCrossing flair.
Here are some things you should know as we jump into the new school year.
Next Wednesday night kicks off a new teaching series. We’ll be talking about the variety of issues surrounding the way we share our faith. Do we? Don’t we? How do we? Why should we? What if…? You get the picture. Things can get messy…but maybe that’s ok. Middle and High School students can tune in on Wednesdays to be a part of the conversation.
On Sept. 10, we’ll be having our first tailgate party of the year at the Eureka vs. Marquette game (at Marquette). We’ll start at 5:30 and end at kickoff time. So, whether you’re a Wildcat or a Mustang- or some other silly mascot- you should join us! We’ll be the ones with the having the most fun.
No Loft concert in September, but look forward to Oct. 22, when the Loft Concerts return with some super cool music and all of your Loft-y friends.
Sunday, Sept. 5- NO FENTON YOUTHCROSSING! Enjoy some barbeque with your friends and family! Happy Labor Day!
Some future dates you might want to get on the calendar:
Winterblast- WB11 will take place Feb. 4-6
Spring Mission Trips (that’s right, two of them)- Trip 1: March 15-17, Trip 2: March 22-24
